The actress and fashion blogger is having a serious Halloween wedding weekend, complete with costume party. So, it is no surprise that when we spoke to the fashionista at NFL Style Showdown, we had to get her best advice for last minute Halloween costume ideas.
While she has revealed that she will be dressing up as one of the Red Feathers, along with all her bridesmaids, at her wedding, that does not mean she is completely out of ideas for those girls that might need some last minute inspiration.
However, don’t expect Chung to be a fan of less is more when it comes to Halloween costumes.
“It’s kind of easy to stay warm, because you know sometimes girls go all out which just means less clothes,” Chung told StyleBlazer exclusively.
So what are Chung’s picks for the girl who just doesn’t feel the Halloween spirit?
“I feel like its always easy to be a part of a group costume. I mean, it’s so easy to get inspiration. Tika [Sumpter] was in this movie called “Bessie,’ it’s a cool period piece that would be interesting costumes. Or the cast of “Orange is the New Black,” and orange jumpers. If you’re doing as a group it makes it more special.”
And if you are one of the millions of people that wait until the last minute to plan a costume, Chung has the fail-proof costume idea that she even rocked last year.
“My last minute costume last year was Black Swan,” Chung said, “and that just requires a tutu and eye makeup.”
As her wedding day approaches, it seems her costume is top priority and the rest is up to her wedding planner.
“I haven’t planned anything, it’s all my wedding planner.”
